The story of Bacci Marmi begins with Silvano Bacci, who entered the world of marble working at a very young age as a stonecutter's apprentice. The experience gained in the trade accompanied him until 1960, when he started his own business. The first workshop marks the beginning of a journey that develops and grows, generation after generation.

Year of foundation

Silvano Bacci starts his own marble-working business in Pietrasanta (Lucca), beginning the journey of the family company.

From production to surface research

In the 1990s Bacci Marmi expanded its processes and developed new types of product. After 2008 the company progressively focused its activity on research dedicated to marble and stone surfaces. Over time the finish has taken on an increasingly central role in the relationship between material and project, becoming one of the key aspects on which Bacci Marmi's experience is built.
